I Got This!
This is what I read when I open up my fortune cookie. Of course when I read this I got very excited. This is exactly what I wanted to hear…I would be able to accomplish the goals I had set for my real estate business. Unfortunately, that feeling of euphoria only lasted a few seconds because it dawned on me that my ability to “complete anything” was still going to take a lot of hard work on my part.
Get To Work!
I’m looking at this fortune as a gentle reminder to stay focused and do the activities I need to do to increase my business:
Get face-to-face with more people
Visit more new properties – stay on top of the inventory
Research and visit new retail developments
Update my web site
Be A Resource For Your Clients
With the weather warming up it will be nice to get out and see what’s happening in the various neighborhoods around the city so I can be a great resource for my clients. And knowing the available inventory is invaluable. Not only will it enable me to help my clients, but it’s a great prospecting tool. I’ll be posting on social media about all the really cool houses that are on the market…subtle ways of saying, “I’M A REALTOR”!
Success Doesn’t Come Easy
So I guess the fortune in the cookie was correct. I will be able to complete anything…because I now have a plan of attack. Yes, I wish it were as simple as reading a fortune from a fortune cookie and poof, I’m able to reach all of my goals. But no matter what anyone tells you, success doesn’t come easy. Success comes with consistent, targeted activities. And there’s no such thing as an overnight success…unless of course you’ve been asleep for a few years.
